Fuel injector flow testing includes the following processes:
Initial flow testing – this involves all the tests performed in fuel injector testing (Visual inspection, Ohm, Leak, Induction tests, Spray pattern analysis, Dynamic and then Static flow testing.
Ultrasonic cleaning – the injectors undergo a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process, the first is to remove all exterior dirt / paint, the second is the injectors are ultrasonically cleaned in a heated bath and the last process involves a final session in another ultrasonic bath. The ultrasonic cleaning process involves the injectors being pulsed in the bath which helps remove the debris and deposits from inside the injector while back flushing the contamination out. This back flushing can’t be achieved on the BMW piezoelectric gasoline injectors due to the design of the injector.
Post clean testing – this involves all the test that were performed in the initial flow testing and is completed to verify the ultrasonic cleaning process and to ensure the injectors are performing optimally.
Flow report – you will receive the result of the pre and post ultrasonic clean of the injectors for you to compare the before and after results.
Orings / seals, filters, pintle caps – If your injector has parts we can replace we will replace them as part of the fuel injector cleaning process. Due to the varied injector parts not all parts are stocked and if special items are required we will notify you of this.
Please make sure you include the injector seals with your injectors so that we can match the seals that fit your vehicle.
SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS: Please send in a completed service form in the package with your carefully packed fuel injectors. The injectors should be packaged so that they can't move around and damage each other.
Customer is responsible for the return postage costs of the injectors, once injectors are complete we will contact you for shipping options and payment.
RETURN SHIPPING: Domestic and International postage is normally via Royal Mail and Parcelforce, if you wish to use another courier like UPS, TNT, DHL please contact us.
