Does your engine show any issues regarding starting, idling, performance, lost economy or poor emissions, then send in your injectors to CP fuel injection, where we test, ultrasonically clean and service petrol fuel injector on our Asnu machines (we do not service diesel injectors).
Once your injectors have been removed, number them if you wish for them to be tested in that order, pack them up carefully and leave all orings pintle caps etc in place.
Please read the following carefully before making your decision on having your injectors tested and serviced:
The service to this particular Siemens Piezo injector has NO warranty and NO guarantee applied due to nature and failure rate of them. Approx 50% of the injectors are serviceable, if the injectors fail the initial testing new units will be required.
The stage 1 fee of £18 +VAT per injector will be required before any testing is started, if the injectors are serviceable an additional cost of £8 +VAT per injector will be required.
A large amount of these injectors deteriorate at the pintle and seat (the nozzle end), which is mainly due to poor fuel quality. It is therefore advised that good quality fuel is used all the time to prolong the life of the injector, but unfortunately this doesn’t guarantee non failure.
The flow report for the injectors are results of on the day testing and there is no guarantee for long term serviceability.
If the injectors are tested as faulty and are non serviceable and you wish to reinstall them then the lower seal will require replacement as the seals are one time use and expand to seal the cylinder. To fit the seal an additional cost of £3 + VAT each injector will be required.
Extreme care must be taken when handling these injectors.
Once injectors received turnaround usually within 2 business days
PLEASE SEND INJECTORS WITH SERVICE FORMand once submitted you will receive an email with instructions
Fuel injector flow testing includes the following processes:
Visual inspection– injectors are checked to make sure the exterior is in good condition, i.e no bent or broken pins, damage to the injector body etc.
Leak test– injectors are tested for leaks on both the body and the nozzle / pintle end, an injector that is leaking from the nozzle end will usually require ultrasonic cleaning to rectify the faulty.
Spray pattern test– the spray pattern is checked during the flow test and if there are any irregularities which is normally due to deposits on the nozzle then an ultrasonic clean can rectify this issue.
Dynamic flow test– tested at various pulse widths to verify the pulsed flow of the injectors is within tolerance.
Flow report– of the results of the above tests is compiled and emailed to you, or if requested otherwise.
Fuel injector cleaning includes the following processes:
Initial flow testing– this involves all the tests performed in option 1 (Visual inspection, Spray pattern analysis, Dynamic flow testing. If your injectors are operating correctly we will not ultrasonically clean them until we contact you for the go ahead.
Ultrasonic cleaning– the injectors undergo a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process, the first is to remove all exterior dirt / paint, the second is the injectors are ultrasonically cleaned in a heated bath and the last process involves a final session in another ultrasonic bath. The ultrasonic cleaning process involves the injectors being pulsed in the bath which helps remove the debris and deposits from inside the injector while back flushing the contamination out. This back flushing can’t be achieved on the BMW piezoelectric gasoline injectors due to the design of the injector.
Post clean testing– this involves all the test that were performed in the initial flow testing and is completed to verify the ultrasonic cleaning process and to ensure the injectors are performing optimally.
Flow report– you will receive the result of the pre and post ultrasonic clean of the injectors for you to compare the before and after results.
Orings / seals, filters, pintle caps– If your injector has parts we can replace we will replace them as part of the fuel injector cleaning process. Due to the varied injector parts not all parts are stocked and if special items are required we will notify you of this.
Customer is responsible for the return postage costs of the injectors, once injectors are complete we will contact you for shipping options and payment.
Domestic and International postage is normally via Royal Mail and Parcelforce, if you wish to use another courier like UPS, TNT, DHL please contact us.
